The idea: a river between two wooden banks

A river table is a piece of furniture that combines two wood slabs with a central channel of epoxy resin, like a river flowing between two banks. The wood brings warmth and natural pattern; the resin brings color and joins both pieces.

The result is a continuous surface where the meeting of both materials reads clearly: the living grain of the wood and the smooth channel of resin.

The natural edge, star of the piece

The wood of a river table keeps its natural edge: it is not cut in a straight line, so the curves the tree already had stay visible. That edge draws the shape of the river.

Each slab brings its own grain pattern —lines, knots and tones— so no river table ever repeats. Two tables of the same size and color never look alike.

The resin: color and union

Epoxy resin is pigmented in the tone you choose: turquoise, deep blue, sky blue, black or coral. As it hardens, it joins both slabs into a single even surface.

Elements such as sand, shells or stones can also be encapsulated in the resin, staying visible inside the channel and giving the piece an even more personal character.

Where a river table shines

With its presence, the river table is usually the centerpiece of the room: dining rooms, living rooms, offices and receptions. As a made-to-order piece, it adapts to the space where it will live.

Frequently asked questions

Is each river table different?
Yes. Since the grain and the natural edge of the wood never repeat, every river table is a one-of-a-kind piece, even when it shares size and color with another.
Can I choose the resin color?
Yes. The most requested tones are turquoise, deep blue, sky blue, black and coral. You choose the one that best matches your space.
What is the natural edge of wood?
It is the edge of the slab just as it came from the tree, with its original curves. In a river table, that edge draws the shape of the resin channel.
Can objects be included inside the resin?
Yes. Elements such as sand, shells or stones can be encapsulated in the resin and stay visible inside the channel.
